A legacy spanning nearly three centuries
The first piece that marks the beginning of the ARCOS company in 1734 is the brand's pair of scissors, created by Juan de Arcos, which is now kept in the Museum of Cutlery in Albacete. This relic was donated by the owners of Arcos Hermanos. In addition, the National Archaeological Museum in Madrid exhibits some pieces marked with “Arcos-Albazete”, made by Juan de Arcos in 1745 and 1746.
In 1875, Gregorio Arcos Aroca turned his small artisan workshop making pocket knives, scissors, and daggers into a factory for mass production of knives. A century later, Gregorio Arcos Villanueva began its international expansion. This family business takes pride in its remarkable recognition and growth.
